Thermal oxidation of poly(dicyclopentadiene) - Effect of phenolic and hindered amine stabilizers
TypeArticles dans des revues avec comité de lecture
The thermal oxidation of stabilized polydicyclopentadiene was deeply studied here for the first time. Three kinds of antioxidants (phenolic antioxidant BHT, monomeric hindered amine in alkoxylated form Tinuvin 123 and oligomeric hindered amine Chimassorb 2020) were compared at the same concentrations. Tinuvin 123 was observed to me more efficient than Chimassorb 2020 because of the “activated” nature of alkoxyamine in Tinuvin 123. Results were simulated using a completed version of previously established kinetic model for thin PDCPD films in order to be able to make reliable lifetime prediction of stabilized PDCDP.

Hydroperoxide concentration was monitored by DSC. It was observed that hydroperoxides concentration reaches ...
HUANG, Jing; DERUE, Isabelle; YVES LE GAC, Pierre; RICHAUD, Emmanuel (ELSEVIER, 2020)This paper describes water absorption in polydicyclopentadiene (PDCPD) and more specially the impact of thermal oxidation on its behavior. Unaged PDCPD is found to be almost hydrophobic consistently with its non-polar ...

Impact of thermal oxidation on mechanical behavior of polydicylopentadiene: Case of non-diffusion limited oxidation DAVID, Adelina; HUANG, Jing; RICHAUD, Emmanuel; YVES LE GAC, Pierre (ELSEVIER, 2020)Impact of thermal oxidation on mechanical behavior of polydicyclopentadiene (pDCPD) is studied in this paper. Thermal oxidation is performed over a wide range of ageing temperature, from 20 °C to 120 °C using 60 μm thin ...
HUANG, Jing; DAVID, Adelina; LE GAC, Pierre-Yves; LORTHIOIR, Cédric; COELHO, Cristina; RICHAUD, Emmanuel (Elsevier Ltd, 2019)This paper reports chemical changes that occur in polydicyclopentadiene during thermal oxidation at several temperatures and oxygen pressures. A particular attention was paid to the double bond consumption since these ...
