2014Abstract
We introduce an Eulerian model for the coupling of a fluid governed by the Navier- Stokes equations, with an immersed interface endowed with full membrane elasticity (i.e. including shear e ects). We show numerical evidences of its ability to account for large displacements/shear in a relatively simple way, avoiding some drawbacks of Lagrangian representation.
