Institut de Recherche de l’École navale (IRENAV)
L’Institut de Recherche de l’École navale (IRENav) est un centre de recherche pluri-disciplinaire orienté vers le domaine maritime et son développement durable. Il est le support essentiel de la formation scientifique au sein de l’Ecole Navale. L’IRENav est membre du groupement d’intérêt scientifique "Europôle Mer", groupement de recherche d’excellence. Il est reconnu comme Equipe d’Accueil (EA3634) par l’Agence d’évaluation de la recherche et de l’enseignement supérieur ("AERES") dans le cadre de la contractualisation des laboratoires de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ENSAM). Le thème général de l’institut est celui de l’environnement naval, et plus particulièrement la problématique du développement durable en milieu maritime.
