Fatigue and Fracture of Engineering Materials and StructuresRésumé
This issue of Fatigue and Fracture Engineering Materials and Structures international journal presents a selection of some extended version of papers presented at the 6th International Conference on Very High Cycle Fatigue. This is very interesting research topic of fatigue rises notably in the last two decades. With growing concerns of fatigue life requirement of many components well beyond 1E7 load cycles, the study on a variety of aspects of very high cycle fatigue, especially Advancements in VHCF instrumentations, Advanced Materials, Influence of Environment and Temperature, Influence of Small Scale Damages, Effect of Microstructure on Crack Initiation Mechanism, Life Prediction, Statistical Analysis and Modeling in Fatigue, attracted permanent attention of scientists and designers during this VHCF conference.

The aim of this work is to propose simple analytical tools to predict the fatigue strength of cast aluminium components as a function of the casting process and post-cast treatment. The proposed methodology is based on the ... -
Article dans une revue avec comité de lectureNumerical study of high cycle fatigue behaviour of copper polycrystalline aggre- gates. An analysis of high cycle fatigue behaviour is undertaken via the numerical simulation of polycrystalline aggregates. The metallic ...
