I2M : Institute of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering of Bordeaux.
I2M Institute includes a large range of topics related to research fields in mechanical engineering on the campus of the University of Bordeaux, France. Although the topics are of fundamental nature, they cannot be separated from the applications as well as from training activities.
The aim of our Unit is to investigate a mosaic of mechanisms at the low scales in order to design the future of the mechanical engines.

The computation of guided modes in fluid-loaded multilayer plates is generally done by a spatial approach, i.e. solutions are sought for a complex slowness. An alternative approach, less frequently employed, involves seeking ...

Comparison of experimental and simulated behaviour of Solid-liquid expression using predictive model Article dans une revue avec comité de lecture(2025)This study compares the experimental and simulated behaviour of solid–liquid expression using a nonlinear predictive model. The model is based on power-law constitutive equations for the local filter cake parameters ...
